My name is James Nicholl and I am the managing director of an environmental consultancy based in Princes Gate in Pembrokeshire.  I have over 20 years’ experience in the environmental sector having started my career with the Environment Agency before moving into industry for EDF energy and UK Power Networks and finally moving to Pembrokeshire in 2015 and setting up my own consultancy.

As Arkgate Consulting Ltd I operate as an external resource (Technical Specialist) for BSI as an ISO 14001 auditor, I deliver environmental and sustainability training for Astutis and also undertake site investigation work and manage remediation activities associated with domestic and commercial pollution incidents. I also hold lead auditor qualification for ISO 45001 as well as the NEBOSH general certificate and have experience in delivering behavioural safety programmes.
